More than 25 years of research and innovation experience in agricultural development, food system research, project management, research governance, budget development and management, organizational assessment, fund raising, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of research and projects activities. My interests lie in the intersection of food systems and improved nutrition, food loss, waste reduction and value additions; land/water governance and rural institutions; sustainable agricultural intensification; climate change and ecosystem management; trade and market development; capacity strengthening for agricultural development and food security particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. Most of my research concentrates on policy relevant studies on fisheries and aquaculture with emphasis on marine fisheries, technology dissemination, aquaculture value chain development in Nigeria and West Africa sub-region, public investment in agriculture and its impact on growth, poverty and inequality, poverty, technology adoption, and economic Impact (Ex ante and Ex post) Analysis.
