I am Peace Adamu Billy, with an LLB in Private International Law, acquired from the University of Maiduguri.
I am poised to apply for this position owing to my (7) years of demonstrated expertise in Humanitarian response on Civil-Military Coordination, Advocacy on Access & Media Communications, General Food Distribution (G.F.D), Food Security, Gender-based violence/protection and Livelihood Initiative.
I was a Communication and Protection Officer with APADE, where I acquired extensive experience in providing technical expertise on cases related to Sexual Gender Based Violence and protection mitigation referral pathways. I coordinated effectively with sister organizations and UNHCR on protection cases and the right of affected populations.
My vast experience in coordinating and managing projects has made a significant impact towards responding to 21,800 beneficiary’s caseloads through the provision of Corn Soya Blend (CSB++ & CSB+) salt and vegetable oil according to the approved food consumption score to Pregnant and Lactating women. My services also focused on the formation of mother – a mother support group, Infant Young Child Feeding (IYCF) active case findings for malnourished children, hygiene promotion and sensitization to women, a compilation of all activities to be uploaded on the Cooperative Partner Distribution Reporting Platform (CPDR) for organizational and donor use.
Conclusively, I have skills with using internet facilities, and MS packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and I am proactive with excellent report-writing abilities. I will be much elated if considered further clarity on my achievements and experiences.

Currently, I work with the Kukah Centre Abuja on projects like EUSDGN1 Component 3 support to political parties and also as a desk officer under the National Peace Secretariat.
