Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Statements/Reports
- Maintain Customer Ledger (Account receivables) on Sage 50 Accounting software and follow up promptly for payments.
- Maintain Vendors Ledgers on Sage 50 Accounting software (Account payables) -Handle all vendors’ payment-prepare Payables schedule and submit to management for approval for payment and then process payments.
- Handling all regulatory remittances: PAYE, PENSIONS and well as handle VAT filing monthly (on TAXPROMAX), while interfacing with clients for compliance with remitting WHT, NCD, VAT withheld at source.
- Handle payroll
- Preparation of monthly Management reports
- Handling other entries into Sage 50 Accounting software in respect of cash sales from disposal of scrap
- Supervision of effective float/petty cash system.
- Interface with FIRS during routine audit exercise.
- Work with company auditor during audit and ensuring filing of audited account with FIRS and obtain TCC.
- Managing the Non-current asset register.
