My name is Patricia Iyawa, and I hail from Delta State, Nigeria. I am a recent graduate of the University of Benin, Edo State, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Biology and Biotechnology. I have recently completed my NYSC service , where I gained valuable experience in the field of Administrative support. I am a highly motivated and driven individual who is eager to contribute my skills and knowledge .
During my NYSC service, I served as a Secretary at the Delta State Liaison Office, where I performed a range of administrative duties. These included answering phones and responding to emails, scheduling appointments and managing calendars, drafting and editing correspondence and other documents, filing and organizing documents and records, managing office supplies and inventory, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
From July 2020 to January 2021, I worked as a Cashier at a Betnaija station, where I was responsible for processing cash transactions, including accepting bets and paying out winnings. Additionally, I balanced cash drawers and ensured that all transactions were recorded accurately, provided customer service to players by answering questions and resolving complaints, maintained a clean and organized work area, and identified and reported any suspicious or unusual activity to supervisors or security personnel.
I completed my primary education at Regina Mundi (O.L.A) Private School, Asaba from 2003-2010 and obtained my First School Leaving Certificate. I then proceeded to Marist Comprehensive College, Nteje from 2010-2013 where I obtained my Junior School Certificate Examination. Afterward, I attended Immaculata Girls Model Secondary School from 2013-2016, where I obtained my Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
Finally, I attended the University of Benin, Ugbowo, Edo State from 2016-2021 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Plant Biology and Biotechnology with Second Class Honours (Lower Division).
