I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist from Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria, with over nine years of experience in lecturing, counselling, and research. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (Second Class Upper Division) and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology, both from Benue State University Makurdi. Additionally, I have completed a PhD program in Clinical Psychology at the same institution.
During my National Youth Service Corps, I served as a counsellor and educator at Secondary School Etoi, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. My professional experience includes positions at the Department of Psychology at Fribourg University, Switzerland, Benue State University Makurdi, Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Center Makurdi, and the Greater SUS Multipurpose Company Limited. I am proficient in data collection, management, analysis and capable of working independently and innovatively with minimal supervision.
I have participated in numerous trainings, workshops, and seminars on counselling, psychotherapy, psychosocial interventions, and crisis management. My research work has been published both locally and internationally.
