My name is Quadri Taiwo, I am a service-based Documentary Cinematographer based in Lagos, Nigeria.
I am interested in working with you in some of your projects in the Africa region.
I have worked in numerous organizations over the year as a video journalist, producer, editor and field/studio cameraman and each of this role has given me different experience from field production(scripted and unscripted), studio-based production and film production in documentary, news report, feature story production, branded content and others. These different experiences meant that I can function as a producer/editor/camera operator in different production environments based on the specific need of the production under consideration.
I am currently shooting a Sports Documentary and Marketing materials for WHISPER TV, UK on the exploits of the Super Falcons of Nigeria during the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers/World Cup Qualifiers. I also work as a freelance video journalist for Alijazeera, AFP, TRT, DW, VOA and Whisper TV, UK. I believe I have all the requisite skills, abilities and experience as well as the soft skills needed to function optimally as a Video Journalist, Cinematographer and Video Editor.
Looking forward to do busines with you soon.

In 2011, I started with DBS Media, Lagos, as a camera man which meant moving around different sets and different production. By late 2013, I started learning the rudiments of picture editing. Between 2012 and 2013, I was on the documentary series ´Development in Lagos´ a documentary on the infrastructure transformation in Lagos since 2008. Under the project, I was responsible for shooting the interviews, the b-rolls and cut away shot from different developmental projects across Lagos State.
I joined An-MNET Africa Production as a Camera Operator on ´Tinsel Drama Series`. Even though I had worked on a television series before at DBS, the work culture and conditions were different in An-MNET Africa Production. I worked as the 2nd Unit Camera Operator.
On the Drama Series my responsibilities include shooting with other camera operators to realize the vision of the Director. I reviewed dailies at the end of each shooting day with the director and the other cameramen so we can reshoot if need be. I worked at An-MNET Africa Production until 2017, from where I moved to CNBC.
I joined CNBC as a Editor/Camera in 2017. I have since worked on many studio programmes such as `Daily Market Show on CNBC`, `Power Lunch West Africa on CNBC`, `Closing Bell West Africa on CNBC`. On these shows I work with Studio camera. I also shot and edited interviews, documentaries, events and AGMs from field production. I also had the opportunity to work and send uplink to our Bureau in South Africa.
