I am a goal –oriented, self-motivated, and progress-driven physiotherapist, committed to delivering safe and quality health-care services with an emphasis on clinical effectiveness and patient-centeredness in accordance with the Health Care Professional Council and the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board of Nigeria profession’s ethics and standard of practice. I possess a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, a master’s degree in Medical Rehabilitation (specialty in cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy) and a PhD in Human Physiology (specialty in cardiovascular and respiratory Physiology).

Duties

• Offering specialist clinical knowledge and specialist physiotherapy assessment of complex conditions and clinical diagnosis
• Helping to determine the appropriate line of management for a high standard physiotherapy care that are evidence based.
• Patients’ record keeping/documentation.
• Inter-professional team communication during grand-ward round for all the team members involved in the patient care to promote effective communication between colleagues for maximum output.
• Making appropriate referrals and discharge procedures including giving home programmes.
• Making presentations at seminars
• Having contacts with other health care providers for clinically focused discussions to enhance effective patient care.
