• Working with the communication team and other nutrition project team members in planning and facilitation of advocacy and awareness creation on the project.
• Ensure smooth implementation and integration of services among the health team and other PUI sector team (MHPSS, Nutrition, food security, protection).
• Ensure that expiry dates of drugs are checked.
• Nutrition Supervisor implementation of activities such as SFP, NFIs distribution and manage the activities of Lead Mothers, CNMs/SBCC/ Tombrown facilitators including active case finding and referrals, community based IYCF activities (peer mother/father support group meetings) home visits, supportive.
• Ensure that drugs and materials storage respect standard rules (hygiene, notification, stock card).
• Ensure the Nutrition component of the project is taken care of properly such as screening and referral, administering treatment to SAM children with medical complication and Tom Brown production under the project, checking commodities at stabilization centre and requesting on time.
• Conduct Regular assessments of nutritional needs within field locations and report findings to the project manager.
• Take lead of project implementation with high supervision skills across field locations.
• Provide technical support and coaching to Nutrition Assistants, CNMs and Health workers on best nutrition practices.
• Organize and monitor the waste management according to the waste management procedures.
• Ensure qualitative weekly and monthly reports including 5W, narrative, minutes of meetings and incidents report as well.
• Support the OPD, PSS, NUTRITION and SRH teams in its daily work.

Nutrition Officer (Team Lead) - Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) - Monguno, Borno State

• Responsible for proper follow up and receipt procedures, warehouse layout and storage, and the proper operation of the government purchase card program utilizing open market purchasing.
• Participate in identifying eligible project beneficiaries and community focal persons, including Community Nutrition Mobilizers (CNMs) and Lead Mothers (LMs).
• Support the organization of beneficiaries and volunteers into groups for the dissemination of nutrition messages.
• With support from supervisors, plan and conduct training sessions for beneficiaries, volunteers, and community focal persons.
• Participate in planning and conducting community and household assessments as required.
• Ensure defaulter tracing and follow-up of OTP beneficiaries at the community level.
• Provide consistent nutrition education and Behavior Change Communication (BCC) to mothers and caregivers.
• Disseminate Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and reporting tools as required.
• Implement outpatient therapeutic feeding of severely malnourished under-fives and integrate IYCF activities.
• Train and mentor community nutrition teams and volunteers through capacity gap analysis, refresher sessions, and on-the-job coaching.

• Support the strengthening of the Community Feedback and Complaints Mechanism (CFCM) within the project area.
• Contribute to the logistical and administrative organization of nutrition activities.
• Participate in defining material and tool requirements for program delivery and in planning interventions.
• Ensure proper use, safety, and accountability of nutrition materials and supplies.
