I am Samuel Udoh Bassey, an experienced health and safety expert with over 10 years of experience in the field. I hold a Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health Technology from the Ogun State College of Health Technology and a Degree In Environmental Science and Resource Management from the Open University of Nigeria. I have completed extensive training in a variety of health and safety disciplines. I am also a certified health and safety professional, with a proven track record of success in implementing effective health and safety programs for a wide range of organizations.
In my current role, I provide consultancy services to businesses in the Oil and Gas, Construction, Security, and telecom industries, helping them to improve their operations and ensure the safety of their employees and customers. I have worked with renowned companies such as Guinness, Finsbury, TABS Logistics, and G4S, and I have a deep understanding of the unique health and safety challenges faced by these industries.
In addition to my health and safety expertise, I am also skilled in coding and software development. I have used my skills to develop custom software solutions that help businesses improve their health and safety practices and meet their regulatory obligations and corporate goals.

● Ensure understanding and implementation of the HSE management systems and ESG framework in line with G4S group requirements across the country’s 6 branch offices and over 200 sites.
● Formulate and periodically update security measures, emergency and incident response procedures and trainings.
● Monitor and report on the organization's ESG performance and progress towards meeting ESG goals using my proprietary ESG/Safety Reporting Software and Dashboard
● Undertake and support audits, inspections and tours of our areas of responsibilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees, stakeholders and others involved in the service delivery.
● Spearhead incident investigations to identify root-causes, lessons learnt and recommend measures to prevent recurrence or reduce the risk to the barest minimum.
● Keep up to date with industry good practice, legislation and innovation around Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and as such, provide regular updates/briefings on to appropriate stakeholders.
● Responsible for developing, implementing and periodically testing Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Pandemic Response Plan (PRP) as well as championing the SDG Goals promotion.
● Establish and coordinate a workable Health and Safety Committee structure that includes all the business functions at the senior management level. Replicating the structure across all branches and major sites in the country.
