• Chemical Pathology: Exposure to routine biochemical analysis, reagent preparation and result interpretation.
• Haematology & Blood Transfusion: Exposure to PCV, ESR, blood film, ABO/Rh grouping and crossmatching.
• Medical Microbiology: Exposure to specimen processing, microscopy, Gram staining, culture and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
• Histopathology: Exposure to tissue fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning and routine staining.
• Phlebotomy: Gained practical experience in venepuncture, capillary blood collection, proper patient identification, specimen labelling, and safe handling and transportation of blood samples while maintaining standard infection prevention and safety practices.
