I am a daughter and the last born out of 9 children to Mr and Mrs Jegede,a Yoruba by tribe, I am also a wife to Mr taiwo Augustine ologunagba I studied surveying and Geo-informatics from federal polytechnic kaduna, I graduated in the year 2014.
2016 after my youth services in katsina state I was retained as a casual staff at the office of the surveyor general in katsina state where I served.
I worked for two years both not fulfilled so I moved back to my parents house at 2019 in Kogi state, I got a job as a liaison officer at Nemoante limited which is a solar energy company,
Then covid 19 came and I lost my job and was introduced to do a volunteer work by a friend of mine that works within the medical field, I was given some training on how to creating awareness about covid 19,provide medication, food, blankets at the remote areas within the country and my place of residence when I get back. In 2021 my husband advise i get a diploma in nursing assistant since he noticed I love to visit and help the old people within the communication so that I can help with their hygiene.
He got me register and I started an online training, my skills improved greatly am grateful for that and I appreciate being a career.
I got a part-time job at federal medical center Lokoja Kogi state in 2022 because I also have a sewing skills and the dress am wearing in my profile picture was made by me.
Duties
I care holistically for my patience, I am a decision maker, I use my critical thinking skills to make decisions,set goals, and promote outcomes for my patient,
these critical thinking skills include assessing the patient, identifying the problem, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating the outcomes .
I uses clinical judgement and my ability to discern what is best for my patient.
I understand that barriers to effective communication can inhibit the healing process, ensures that the patient's care is cohesive and responsible for continuity from the moment a patient enters the hospital setting to the time they are discharge home,I support their decisions, stand up for his or her best interest at all times.
Help the patient learn about their health, medications, treatments and procedures.as I teacher, i understand that part of my duty as a Nurse may also need to instruct family members about how they can help a patient or instructions about what to do once they are not in a hospital setting, so that patient can easily care for themselves at home.

I worked as a volunteer in 2020 during covid 19 where I provide recovery support for the less privilege and worked as a team player with the medical professionals to ensure they access relevant services like physiotherapist, i also keep them company to avoid loneliness.
2022 I started working as a health care assistant in federal medical center (part-time) with duties like cooking, washing, laying bed's, handling record keeping, administering patient medical, dressing patient, toileting, monitor, ensure they are comfortable.
