Tom Solomon

I have 3 years of experience providing Clinical Laboratory Services at both tertiary hospital and Public Health Laboratory levels. During the last 2 years I have been a Lecturer to Medical Laboratory Technicians in training. Able to work with both manual and automated systems. Basic ICT competence. Leadership and teamwork mindset, with excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, presentation). A client-focused attitude.

Core Skills include: Diagnostic testing in chemical pathology, hematology/ blood transfusion and Microbiology/ parasitology. TB services with GeneXpert PCR system / AFB microscopy, HIV services (HTS, Viral load sampling, AHD monitoring), Use of Laboratory Information Management Systems, Laboratory Quality Documentation.
