I'm a surveyor with 7+ years on the ground doing seismic, cadastral, and construction surveying across Nigeria. I'm hands-on with Total Station, GPS, and Civil 3D, and I enjoy turning raw field data into drawings and plans that engineers and contractors can actually build from. I work best when I'm leading a small survey crew, sorting out site issues quickly, and making sure what's on the drawing matches what's on the ground.

Most recently I've moved into project management, coordinating teams and keeping projects on track from start to finish.

I now oversee projects end-to-end. That means planning the work, coordinating the team, dealing with clients and suppliers, and making sure we deliver on time and to spec. I spend a lot of time on site, catching small issues before they become big ones.

Land Surveyor & Head of Survey Section at Horizon Construction Nig. Ltd (2025-04 – 2026-02)

I led the survey team for a 4km road project. My day involved setting out alignments, checking levels, and making sure the road was built exactly where and how it should be. I also handled all the survey documentation and worked directly with the engineers to keep things moving without delays.

Land Surveyor at SAGEZ Nigeria Ltd (2024-03 – 2025-03)

Worked on the 10.4km Nawgu–Isuanucha Road and the 2.5km Awka Millennium City Estate Roads. I carried out boundary and topographic surveys, produced site plans, and made sure everything complied with project specs. I was also the point of contact for clients and architects when they needed survey data explained clearly.

Land Surveyor at Abuja Steel Mills Nigeria Ltd (2023-02 – 2024-02)

Responsible for setting out buildings, monitoring excavation depths, and checking floor levels against design drawings. Accuracy was critical here, so I doubled-checked everything before sign-off.

Surveyor at Amtay Technology Ltd (2022 – 2023)

Worked on two bridge projects: a six-span bridge across Magufan River in Kaduna, and a three span bridge in Obollo Ikem, Enugu. My focus was pile positioning and ensuring the bridge alignment was spot on.

Surveyor Engineer at African Natural Resources & Mines (2021-02 – 2022-10)

Coordinated daily survey operations on site. I handled topographic surveys, structural bolt placements, and excavation level checks. It was fast-paced and I learned to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.

Surveyor at Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction Nig. Ltd

Set out structures, monitored building levels, and prepared structural plots using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Worked closely with the construction team to avoid rework.
