A certified HSE professional with 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry (downstream sector), developing safety policies, assessing workplaces for potential dangers, and advising management on ways to lower risks and prevent accidents.
An experienced and dedicated health, safety, and environmental professional with extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and codes of practice. Capable of developing policies and safe work systems to protect the health and safety of employees as well as the environment. Monitoring and reviewing policies are also part of the job description.
Able to keep up with changing legislation and has in-depth knowledge of HSE specialist areas such as emissions control, spillage, fire, and construction site safety. A good communicator at all levels, willing to work with senior management, staff, contractors, and outside agencies, and knowing when and how to liaise with various individuals.
