Victor Akogwu

More than half of my life has been all about Architecture and Building Constructio/Management. This passion has led me from the Private Sector (working mostly on residential jobs of varying scales) into the Public Sector (working on Public facilities of large scales including facilities management) and back to the Private sector. During these times I operated in various capacities and consequently garnered much relevant experiences in practically most areas of the industry; Design, Supervision, Administration, Procurement, preparation of tender documents(Architectural), Preparation of reports, etc.

I believe I will be an asset to any team/employer I work with/for not just because of my experience but also because of my amiable character (as I am mostly described) and good inter-personal relationship. I lead naturally and learn quickly.

I worked five (5) years in the Public Sector at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing Abuja-FCT as a Senior Architect and rose to the rank of Principal Architect while working at The State House Maintenance Department from where I exited the civil service to pursue higher aspiration. I have also worked for thirteen (13) years in the Private sector cumulatively so far in various capacities as Site supervisor, Design Architect, Site Manager, Procurement officer and Admin Officer.

I graduated from the University of Jos, Nigeria in 2005 where I was awarded MSc Architecture ( Master of Science in Architecture). A two years post graduate thesis program.
