Victoria Abaye

I am Victoria Abaye, an event Director, and experiential Marketing Manager.

I recently completed an event management program in Dubai and have significant experience managing corporate and special events for clients across various sectors.

Over the last seven years, I have worked for organizations across different sectors, designing, planning, and executing corporate events for African clients and companies. In 2022, I organized one of the biggest Pharmaceutical Research & Development and Clinical Trials Summit in Africa with attendees from across Africa. I have experience engaging high-net-worth clients and individuals with diverse needs.

With a background in management accounting, I introduce cost-effective strategies to plan and manage glamorous events for clients with feasible budgets and predicted outcomes. Over the last seven years, I have organized events across the technology, entertainment, pharmaceutical, and trade sectors. These vendors have strengthened my communication skills with stakeholders, improved the processes used to select and manage vendors, and developed strong partnerships and sponsorships across different sectors.

I have worked with on numerous events leans on my ability to identify their unique skills and competencies. I create a working environment where suggestions are appreciated, and event planning is flexible enough to make important changes where necessary. I allow stakeholders, especially vendors and team members, to have a strong sense of ownership over their assigned duties and responsibilities, allowing initiatives and concepts to flow throughout the events I have organized, with accolades given to worthy recipients.

That has led to me organizing the West Africa Biggest Startup & Tech Exhibition by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Africa’s Biggest Fair by Connect Nigeria.
