Project Material Coordinator

Responsible to ensure all materials are procured, delivered, inspected, stored, preserved, and issued in a safe and efficient manner, meeting the safety, quality, cost, and scheduled targets.

Optimizing materials flow, purchasing supplies, implementing purchasing policies, reporting to upper management, directing required materials to its destination, verifying deliverables, keeping a record of all inventories, tracking delivery progress, and establishing priority of deliveries.

Working with various members of the project team and the client to develop a time line, create schedules,

and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time. Facilitating end to end materials management,

including optimizing materials usage and transactional excellence, fulfillment of materials procurement through purchase order tracking, direct vendor interface and kitting services to ensure schedule alignment.

Assisting in the preparation, accumulation and maintenance of control files, such as requisitions, purchase orders, and logistical documentation, also reviewing work schedule and influence planners and execution team to manage purchasing demand.

Consult with Procurement, OEM and vendors to develop best practices, procedures and standards with respect to materials availability and providing frequent updates on material availability to required team for the project

 Raising Material Requisition and establishing delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.

 Monitor and control movement of material and parts, compute amount of material needed for specific job orders.
