As a Revenue Mobilization Lead, I oversee ensuring that collections from the undertakings come in as at when due, and strategically work towards the reduction of the company’s debt.
Responsibilities:
- Identify collection gaps and recommend strategies for mitigating collection risks.
- Assist with ensuring revenue mobilization resources are adequate and effective in driving collection.
- Assist in reducing revenue collection losses within the organization.
- Assist with reviewing and developing strategies for increasing collection.
- Assist with ensuring revenue mobilization resources are adequate and effective in driving collection.
- Assist in the management of Key Projects that assist in the reduction of collection loss.
Key Achievements:
- Designed and Implemented a Debt Discount Product for the company which generated N137 million within 7 Months.
- Managed Disconnection Monitoring and Reconnection (DMR) Project and recovered over N17 Billion (average of N3.4 Billion per year) from delinquent customers with no payment for over 1 year, since the inception of the project in 2017.
- Piloted a Tariff Re-classification Project and re-classified over 50,000 customers with projected annual revenue of over N189 million.
- Operationalized weekend cash collection drive for the business which increases weekend collection.
- Managed the MDA debt reconciliation project with the Office of the Vice president that yielded N1.2 billion in collection.
