🚀 Internship – Backend Developer (Python / APIs)

Our goal is to help people easily discover interesting places in their city and organize activities and meetups around them.

We are looking for a

• *Backend Developer Intern**

who wants to gain real startup experience and contribute to building a live product from an early stage.

• *Russian-speaking**

is preferred due to internal communication within the team.

Internship Format

• 6-month internship
• 1-month trial period
• ~15 hours per week
• *• Unpaid**
• Educational and training-oriented (not an employment contract)

You will receive

• *mentorship and regular feedback from the Planora team**

, and all work produced during the internship can be included in your

• *portfolio or CV**

What You Will Work On

• Developing and improving backend services for the Planora platform
• Building and maintaining APIs used by the mobile application
• Working with databases, structured data, and business logic
• Supporting integrations between frontend and backend systems
• Contributing to product features and technical architecture decisions
• Participating in rapid product iteration inside a startup environment

Requirements

• *Must have**
• Python, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy
• Basic understanding of backend development
• Understanding of APIs, async code, JSON, and client-server interaction
• Git
• Basic understanding of databases and data structures

Russian language is

• *preferred but not required**

• Startup experience or interest in early-stage products
