How to Succeed: A Bachelor’s (HBO) degree in computer science or a relevant field. 10 years or more of engineering experience in the Java microservices Ecosystem Working on continuous improvements on business applications and infrastructure as well as on monitoring & alerting in the REST API’s Ecosystem Knowledgeable of SQL databases and DB queries, and file transfer. Knowledgeable of controlling IT-Risk and Security Standards in the banking industry. Identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues by using a range of monitoring, test and alerting tools (Configuration, change, incident and problem Management) Build & deployment processes (Azure DevOps) Being able to automate and execute test cases Automating the manual process by using Ansible Experience in Agile / Scrum or Kanban Your personality A good communicator in English (verbal, written & presentation) Analytical (understanding complexity and thinking from the impact point of view, not just solving the problem directly) Not waiting for others to tell you what to do, but just take the initiative You have a collaborative workstyle with a focus on achieving goals by helping others to be successful You have a focus on quality and challenge your colleagues to grow You speak up and challenge decisions (you ask why things are done instead of just doing them) You have a strong interest and vision in recent trends in software development and technology in general, and the ability to transfer this knowledge back to ING Rewards and benefits We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
