This is a rare opportunity to join a healthcare focused SaaS organisation at a pivotal stage in their data journey. You will play a key role in building a greenfield data engineering capability, with genuine ownership over design decisions and a clear line of sight to business impact.

The Company

They are a growing SaaS organisation operating in the healthcare space, using data to support better decision making and future AI driven capabilities. The environment is collaborative and product focused, with close alignment between engineering, architecture and the wider business. While healthcare experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement.

The Role

You will be one of the first data engineers in this area, helping to shape both the technical foundations and future ways of working. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building end to end data pipelines in Azure
• Developing and modelling a new semantic data layer to replace an existing dashboarding solution
• Working with modern ETL tooling to support analytics and downstream reporting
• Collaborating closely with technical architects, analysts and business stakeholders
• Contributing to the evolution of the data platform, including readiness for future AI use cases

Your Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong commercial experience in data engineering
• Advanced SQL skills and solid data modelling capability
• Hands on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Experience working in Azure based data environments
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and comfort working in greenfield settings

Experience with ClickHouse, dbt, DLT, Daxter, semantic modelling, SaaS products or healthcare data is advantageous but not essential. Dutch language skills are preferred, but candidates who are open to learning Dutch are encouraged to apply.
