Frontend Engineer (Scripting)

Requirements

Must have:

- We require a fully remote setup, and you can work from anywhere in South Africa.

• We require 4+ years of experience working as a frontend developer or engineer.
• We require strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• We require experience working with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• We require a solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• We require experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• We require experience working in an English-speaking environment.
• We require experience collaborating with UX/UI/Product designers.
• We require strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• We require experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Vuex, NgRx).
• We require familiarity with module bundlers and build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite).
• We require attention to detail with a strong sense of design and usability.
• We require experience optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• We require experience implementing unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Nice to have: experience with Node.js or server-side JavaScript (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js).
• Nice to have: familiarity with TypeScript generics, decorators, or advanced type patterns.
• Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Nice to have: understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
