The Opportunity
You'll be working in a multi-disciplinary team responsible for realizing our core platform — currently building a platform for Web Components used globally across our organization. We've put engineering excellence at the core of everything we do: better technology, direct user feedback, fast delivery, and maximum automation. Lots of room for new ideas, with the chance to roll this product out across multiple countries.
The Team
You'll join a newly formed squad within our Frontend Foundation Web area, focused on improving how we integrate and deploy code.
from concept to production. The team's mission: deliver a high-performing, scalable, fast solution used globally, built on our latest tech stack. Right now, the squad's key focus is migrating our Frontend controller to Java.
What You'll Do
- Be involved across the full development lifecycle from refinement to production monitoring
- Support incident management
- Help maintain and evolve our products and roadmap
- Create and maintain risk documentation
- Become a Security Champion for your team
- Help foster a safe, collaborative, high-performing team culture
Your Profile
- Experience with Java 21 (LTS versions)
- Strong Spring Boot / Spring (latest) experience
- Solid understanding of Microservices
- Experience with distributed systems & async communication (Kafka)
- Strong Azure / Azure DevOps experience
- Great analytical & architectural thinking ,comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone
- Knowledge of Performance/Capacity/Availability (Elastic Search, Kibana)
- Passion for automation & continuous improvement
- Strong grasp of networking (DNS, HTTP) & security (TLS, PKI)
- Experience with NoSQL & SQL databases
- Comfortable in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment
- Strong communicator, team player, and curious mindset
