Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to support, automate, and enhance an on-premise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platform within a large enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on building stable, automated, and secure Linux infrastructure while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps setup.
Design, build, automate, and operate on-prem RHEL infrastructure
Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Controller
Deploy and manage systems following formal change and release processes
Provide L2 support, incident handling, and root cause analysis
Manage patching, lifecycle, and configuration using Red Hat Satellite
Work with containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes/OpenShift
Collaborate with Product Owners, squads, and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
Document systems, processes, and best practices clearly
8+ years of hands-on RHEL experience in enterprise production environments
Strong Linux fundamentals (OS, storage, kernel, troubleshooting)
5+ years with container platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift)
3+ years of Ansible automation development
Experience with VMware, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/CloudBees), and Git/Bitbucket
Solid understanding of networking and TCP/IP
Experience working in structured, large-scale enterprise environments A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong communication skills A little about us:
