Senior Frontend Developer (Scripting)

Requirements

Must have:

- This role is fully remote. You can work from anywhere in South Africa.

• We are looking for someone with 10+ years experience working as a frontend developer or engineer.
• We need strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• We want experience working with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• We require a solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• We need experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• We want experience working in an English speaking environment.
• We value experience collaborating with UX/UI/Product designers.
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Vuex, NgRx).
• Familiarity with module bundlers and build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite).
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of design and usability.
• Experience optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• Experience implementing unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Nice to have: experience with Node.js or server-side JavaScript (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js).
• Nice to have: familiarity with TypeScript generics, decorators, or advanced type patterns.
• Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Nice to have: understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
