pSenior Full Stack Developer – Java / Spring Boot / Angular at Everbridge /p pFull Time /p pStart Date /p pImmediate /p pExpiry Date /p p30 Nov, 26 /p p0.0 /p pPosted On /p p01 Sep, 26 /p pExperience /p p0 year(s) or above /p pRemote Job /p pYes /p pTelecommute /p pYes /p pSponsor Visa /p pNo /p pSkills /p pDescription /p h3About the job /h3 pA fast-growing travel-tech organisation is undergoing a major product and architecture evolution and is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join its Transport team . /p pYou’ll work across the flight journey from search, pricing and booking through to the user experience and back-office systems , helping improve how customers select and book exactly what they want. /p pSenior Java Developer | Travel-Tech | Transport Booking | Outside IR35 £300-£400 | Java, Spring Boot, MySQL /p pThe team is also tackling a major modernisation programme, rethinking parts of a legacy PHP platform and re architecting older systems into modern, scalable services . /p pWhat You’ll Work On /p ul liBuild and evolve high-traffic Java, Spring Boot and MySQL backend systems. /li liWork across the flight search, pricing and booking journey . /li liDesign and implement new backend features, APIs, unit testing and system improvements. /li liHelp rethink and re architect legacy systems , turning older PHP-based functionality into modern software. /li liContribute to architecture, design patterns and shared services across multiple products. /li liWork closely with engineering and product teams to solve complex problems and improve the customer journey. /li liUse GitLab CI for CI/CD automation and ArgoCD for deployment of modern stacks. /li /ul pWhat They’re Looking For /p ul liStrong commercial experience building production-scale Java applications . /li liDeep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and MySQL . /li liExperience designing distributed backend systems, APIs and scalable architectures . /li liSomeone who is a builder and problem solver , not simply an executor of predefined designs. /li liStrong ownership — able to identify a problem, design a solution, deliver it and measure its impact. /li liExperience contributing to architecture and technical design . /li liA genuine desire to improve systems, challenge existing approaches and move things forward. /li /ul pNice to Have /p ul liPHP experience — particularly working with or modernising legacy PHP systems. /li liNode.js, MongoDB, Kafka or React. /li liTravel, transport, flights or booking-domain experience. /li liExperience with modern CI/CD and cloud-native deployment practices /li /ul pWe are looking for someone who can look at a problem end-to-end : understand the user and business problem, decide how the system should work, architect the solution, build it and ultimately measure whether it made a difference. /p
