Over
Platform and infrastructure automation engineer with 8 years across
Linux, Kubernetes and enterprise network infrastructure. I build production automation in Python, Ansible, Terraform and GitLab/Jenkins
CI/CD — systems that detect, diagnose and remediate infrastructure failures without a human in the loop, and that ship through the same review, test and rollback discipline as any other production code.
I am currently automation SME on a Tier-1 global telecom operator's worldwide Cisco SD-WAN estate, where the auto-remediation platform I built now closes 34.6% of the account's total incident volume unattended, freeing 38 NOC engineers for redeployment. Before that I spent three years as the sole L2/L3 escalation engineer for Tufin's entire EMEA customer base — European enterprises in regulated industries, European business hours, European change governance.
CKA, CKAD and RHCSA certified. I have also been selected to design a greenfield automation platform for a German automotive OEM from zero.
I am relocating to the EU and open to platform engineering, SRE and infrastructure automation roles in the Netherlands and Germany.
Eligible for the Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant scheme and the German EU
Blue Card. Notice period 3 months. English fluent, German A1 studying towards B1.
Ervaring
Automation SME for a Tier-1 global telecommunications operator, on a worldwide Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela and IOS-XE estate run under 24/7 NOC
SLA.
Automated 34.6% of the account's total incident volume across its three highest-weight alarm categories — Cisco router device-down (17.6%),
Viptela router device-down (11%) and BFD/TLOC (6%). Verified recoveries close unattended; only genuine manual-intervention cases escalate. 38
NOC engineers were freed and redeployed.
Built the diagnostic engine behind it, which reasons over BGP session and route state, BFD/TLOC health, tunnel and WAN-path telemetry and partner-router reachability to decide whether a device is genuinely down — and refuses to act on incomplete evidence.
Designed multi-phase Ansible/Python MOPs — pre-check, diagnostics,
guarded remediation, post-validation — with safety gates, rollback paths and full audit logging.
Built reusable vManage REST API, NETCONF and gNMI frameworks for alarm polling, inventory sync and route/tunnel telemetry, plus ServiceNow closed-loop automation with SLA-bound auto-closure.
Established Nautobot/NetBox as source of truth with drift detection and
Grafana/SNMP/syslog telemetry, and introduced Terraform for the automation platform's own infrastructure.
Set the team's engineering standards: Python package layout, GitLab and
Jenkins CI gates, structured logging, idempotency and zero hardcoded credentials via vaulted secrets.
Selected for a greenfield automation programme for a German automotive
OEM, designing target architecture, source of truth and IaC/CI-CD foundations from zero.
