I am a married woman with 35 years of teaching. My EU passport and teaching verification by the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwiys, kenmerk: 295340, enables me to work and teach in Europe, The Netherlands, and Germany.
My Dutch husband, Mark Anselm Vosters, is a self-employed engineer who works remotely.
We both want to relocate permanently, up for a new challenge and to be close to our grown-up children living abroad, hence applying for teaching positions in the Netherlands.
I have experience in the general classroom and special needs teaching, designing curricula to focus on differentiated and inclusive teaching, and am part of the school leadership team. Furthermore, I involve myself in teacher mentorship and upskilling young professional teachers.
I design academic enrichment curricula for each grade from the class teachers' term planning
· I currently teach primary to High school students English, Maths, and Study Skills (Executive Functioning) to students in an individual and small group setting.
· I am recognized by the British Dyslexia Association, which enables me to teach and support students with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia.
· To enrich my teaching knowledge and pedagogic methods, I have attended specialized courses to work with students with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and behavioral difficulties. Completing these courses has won me a visitorship to the UK to observe Support Dyslexia in the classroom. To Florida, USA, to learn how to teach Engaging Cooperative Social teaching in the school and the Learning Support Unit.
· My leadership position as Deputy Head: Personalized Learning has placed me in a position to sit in school management meetings to advise on how to best include and manage students with learning differences within a mainstream schooling system.
Development and Mentorship Role: Lecturing and designing workshops
I am part of an inclusive mentorship program whereby I lecture at a private Teachers' Training Institute (STADIO) and design workshops which I present to teachers wanting to improve their teaching strategies.
I am passionate about my work and always see opportunities before me. Always eager to learn and upskill myself in new educational trends and teaching methodologies, namely in online teaching and blended learning.
