Daniela Fernandes

I’m a 28-year-old Portuguese HR professional with over five years of experience in human resources. I love being involved in projects that improve processes and bring teams together. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, van life travel, and cooking without following recipes. While I’ve loved my time working in Portugal across dynamic companies, I’m excited for a bold new challenge in the Netherlands!

For the first four years of my career at Truewind Global, I worked in a generalist role, handling recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance appraisals, event management, training, and more. Some of my key projects included revamping the entire onboarding and performance appraisal processes, creating our team’s dedicated page on the internal communication platform, and working closely with project managers and project teams to prepare and submit bids for the public sector. After that, I specialised in recruitment as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner for three business units at Axians in Portugal.

Beyond sourcing and hiring, I partnered closely with business unit managers to stay connected to operational teams and meet their evolving needs. My favourite and most rewarding challenge was onboarding and coaching a new recruiter to my team over four months.

I have a degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Lisbon
