I am a 49-year-old Dutch native man, in a 25-year relationship with my partner and we have a 20-year-old son. Throughout life, I’ve learned that I find most satisfaction when I am able to stand by and help out those that are unable to do so for themselves. For me, this mostly translates into using my talents to facilitate campaigning towards climate change in Greenpeace International.
I have been in a working career now for over 28 years, out of which 25 years in the project- and program management sector. My career path includes outplacement, telecom, legal and NGO sectors. I have done this mostly in an international, global setting.
Senior Global IT Project Manager 2018-Current
● Managing 2-3 (global) projects at any given time
● Actively participating in the development and management of (ICT) policies
● Project management using multiple agile methodologies. Next to project management,(organizational) Change management is a strong component of this role. I refer to the Training section for more information on my project management skillset.
● Mentoring various colleagues from different departments on project management and service delivery
● Management of a variety of international/global projects throughout the years. This concerns also non-IT projects like project management for Finance, Legal and P&C
● Development and management of process optimisation through new service delivery or existing (SaaS) optimisation; for example for GPI P&C, GPI Finance and GPI Legal
● Optimization of Tech department processes, like the continuing integration development of Global IT and SSI
