Dear Hiring Team,

I am writing to apply for the Barista position. I currently live in Amsterdam, am legally eligible to work in the Netherlands, and I am looking for a part-time position of around 30 hours per week. I am available to start immediately.

I have solid experience in hospitality, including working as a barista in a high-end hotel in Italy. During this time, I gain experience preparing espresso-based drinks such as cappuccino, latte and espresso, while providing friendly and attentive service to international guests. I also developed strong skills in working efficiently during busy service periods, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

What I enjoy most about working as a barista is the combination of preparing good coffee, interacting with customers, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I enjoy the energy of a café environment and the small details that make someone's experience special.

I consider myself a proactive, friendly, and reliable person who enjoys working as part of a team, learning new skills, and taking initiative when needed. Having worked in international and fast-paced environments, I am comfortable staying calm under pressure and adapting quickly to different situations.

I speak fluent English and Italian, and Spanish is my native language, which allows me to connect easily with customers from different backgrounds.
