Climate Policy Integration and Resilience in the European Union

Examined whether pre-crisis electricity-system characteristics (renewable share, fossil-fuel share, GHG intensity) were associated with household electricity price resilience during the 2022–2023 European energy crisis.
Synthesised EU and national policy documents, regulatory reports and academic literature alongside evidence from four country cases: Denmark, France, Italy and Poland.
Conducted cross-country regression and sensitivity analyses in Python using Eurostat and EEA datasets, and critically assessed the robustness and limitations of the results.
Presented complex quantitative and policy findings clearly while acknowledging the limitations of the analysis.
