Climate Policy Integration and Resilience in the European Union

• Examined whether pre-crisis electricity-system characteristics (renewable share, fossil-fuel share, GHG intensity) were associated with household electricity price resilience during the 2022–2023 European energy crisis.
• Synthesised EU and national policy documents, regulatory reports and academic literature alongside evidence from four country cases: Denmark, France, Italy and Poland.
• Conducted cross-country regression and sensitivity analyses in Python using Eurostat and EEA datasets, and critically assessed the robustness and limitations of the results.
• Presented complex quantitative and policy findings clearly while acknowledging the limitations of the analysis.
