Ivana Lenardic

Hi!

My name is Ivana. I was born and raised in Slovenia, but I currently live in Amsterdam, where I study Master's programme in Human Movement Sciences at Vrije University Amsterdam. My bachelor's background is in Kinesiology, which I finished at the University of Ljubljana.

People see me as a motivated, kind-hearted, and creative soul, always willing to help in any way I can.

My values and areas of interest are: physical activity, health, healing, wellbeing, mindfulness, creativity, artistic work, learning, improving, socializing,…

I am always looking forward to improving people's quality of life.

I am looking for a part-time job to work during weekends, preferably in SPA or fitness industry.

I worked as a massage therapist from March to August 2022. I went through practical and theoretical massage training as a part of the course Sports Medicine at the Faculty of Sport during my bachelor's degree. I utilized that knowledge and put it into practice and provided a relaxing massage. I had my own table and studio. I combined it with relaxing sounds and aromatherapy (lavender).

My approach was: good masseur-client connection, progressive load, and combination with sound and aromatherapy, an ethical approach - knowing when massage is not recommended and should better be avoided.

I believe that my empathy, good intuition and love for this job makes me a good massage therapist.

I can bear high loads, and I know when and how to apply pressure if necessary.
