Jaden Blazier

While originally from Seattle, WA, USA, for the last five years I have been based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I am a person with a diverse background of skills and experiences. I love travelling, staying in hostels and meeting people from all around the world, practicing yoga, and discussing philosophy.

For the past several years I have worked with hostels. I bring together strategic data analysis, my knowledge of the hostel industry, and my ability to connect with people, in order to find creative solutions to challenges that arise.

For more than four years I have supported hostels in various roles from Reception to Sales and Marketing Manager to Revenue Management Specialist. I am skilled in helping guests to feel at home in a new place, understanding reception procedures in order to turn my attention towards the unique needs of the guests, analyzing data to make strategic decisions, revenue management, organizing (group) reservations, and digital marketing.

I am also a Philosophy Instructor. In the past few years I have assisted in teaching the classes Philosophy and Psychology at VU Amsterdam and Ethics of Technology at TU Eindhoven.

In 2019 I received an M.A. in Bioethics from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, and prior to that I received a B.S. in Neurobiology (minors in Philosophy and Computational Neuroscience) from the University of Washington, Seattle.
