I would like to apply for an internship position at your company as of spring or summer 2023. As a first year university student pursuing studies in the realm of sustainability, I could only hope to gain corporate experience. I am, as mentioned, a student in circular engineering, and expanding my knowledge in sustainability and circularity could only benefit me by allowing me to learn more in my given domain.
I believe that I am equipped with the necessary skills to be a worthy asset to your team. I am hard working, organized, great with teamwork and time management. I have demonstrated great dedication and perseverance through my academic career, which has allowed me to acquire a 4.00 GPA.
This internship would enable me to further my strive for excellence by debuting an ambitious career. It is why I hope to be able to further expand my knowledge within my field of work and studies through an internship at your company.
I have also consistently been involved in school activities and strived for the betterment of student life at my highschool and university. I was elected class representative, which helped me develop my sense of responsibility and confidence. I was equally part of the Media Club, where I collected and reported information to students through the school newspaper.
I am now a student ambassador and head of media candidate at my university. I have managed to balance all these activities through time management, academic determination and discipline.
In addition, being an active participant in sustainability has always been a great interest of mine. I have always enjoyed volunteering, mainly through participating in events supporting various causes, such as beach cleaning events, and “Swim For Clean Seas” swimming events. Moreover I was also elected eco-representative at my high school. I aim to expand my environmental involvement through a position at your company.
● Volunteered for beach cleaning events in Abu Dhabi.
● Founder and owner of IRTHAA. This business, established in March 2020, is based on the production of jewelry. It is a business established on Instagram and has successfully achieved 1150 completed orders within a period of 1.5 years.
● Completed an exchange programme to Vienna for 1 1⁄2 months.
● Eco-representative at my school
● Elected class representative in 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade.
● Active member of the media club at my high school, in charge of collecting and reporting information to my school through the school newspaper.
● Participated in athletic events for Humanitarian and Environmental causes such as: “swim for clean seas”
swimming events, and Breast Cancer running events.
● Volunteered as an organizer in sporting events like “jeux mopi” in Abu Dhabi.
● Participated in a francophone math event “math en jeans” with my school.
● Active member of the athletic club UJS at my high school.
● National Diploma of “brevet” with honors obtained in October of 2029.
