Since early 2022, in addition to my job at Proeflokaal de Prael, in the centre of Amsterdam, I have been working as a Tour Guide at the Johan Cruijff-ArenA in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost. For the past year, I have been conducting tours about the tragic story of Anne Frank, about Jewish history of Amsterdam and also food tours. Both in the Prael and in the ArenA as well as a tour guide in the city centre of Amsterdam, I gained extensive experience in dealing with mostly foreign visitors. I have learned to sense what information is of interest and to adapt to the wishes of my audience.
I have good communication skills and am used to communicating in English at a high level. I have studied the history and cultural past of the city in recent years.
I have a good sense of humour and know how to make my audience laugh in addition to giving interesting information. I was born and raised in Amsterdam and know the city well, I love to talk about it passionately.
