Layla Kozic

I am a 23-year-old student from Frankfurt, Germany currently in my second year studying International Media and Communication at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since moving to the Netherlands in 2021, I have actively integrated into the urban youth scene of Rotterdam and beyond. Whether that is clubs, film or art events I have had the pleasure to see a variety of projects.

Growing up I have always been curious about all things broadcasting, journalism, and writing which has led me to my current degree as well as this application. Being inquisitive by nature and having a deeply rooted desire for expansion, academically as well as personally, has already led me to accumulate a multitude of international experiences. Broadening my horizon is a never-ending journey.

Writing concise, yet witty texts of all sorts are among the things I enjoy practising dearly. I find great fulfilment in volunteering at Future Intel Radio in Den Hague as a writer. Most of their team is Dutch, however, we have few to no issues working and communicating with each other.

I attended the field trip organised by the University and came to visit your office. I was positively impressed as I have thought about a carrier in copywriting!

The internship I am looking for would last 2 to 3 months (potentially longer) from April onwards. I am very eager to learn about all things surrounding broadcasting and contribute with my own knowledge, experience and hard work.
