Maura Folkertsma

I am a energetic and creative individual with a passion for designing intuitive user experiences. With a background in both industrial design and user experience design, I am able to think both conceptually and technically when designing products. I am always curious and imaginative, seeking out new ideas, experiences, and adventures.

This mentality carries over to my User Experience design as well, finding beauty and fascination in almost anything. I am good at communicating, considerate, and caring, which is beneficial when designing for the user/client. I am enthusiastic and energetic, making me an excellent teamworker who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the whole group.

I strive to create products that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, with an emphasis on simplicity. I believe that user experience is an integral part of any product, and that a well-designed product should be easy to use and understand.
