Melissa Durante

I have over seven years of experience working in law. I have worked as a legal assistant in immigration and workers compensation fields, and I have additional experience during my J.D. and L.L.M. law school studies working in criminal law and human rights law. I have recently completed the coursework for my dual J.D./L.L.M. in European and International Human Rights Law from Villanova University and Leiden University, respectively.

I have over seven years of experience working in law as a paralegal, in additional to law clerk/legal intern work during my years in law school. I have experience working in human rights, criminal law, immigration law, and workers compensation defense, primarily, in addition to some civil law experience.

I have completed my bachelor's degree in English, Psychology, and Creative Writing & Literature from the University of Michigan, and I have just completed the coursework for my dual JD/LLM, both to be awarded shortly. I completed my JD at Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law, and my LLM in European and International Human Rights Law at Leiden University Law School.
