Undergraduate student looking for an inter-position
Michael Steve is a student at Erasmus University of Rotterdam in The Netherlands. He is currently running his second year of a bachelor´s degree in Management of International Social Challenges. Additionally, he is also part of the Honours Academy of its faculty given its outstanding contributions to social science research reflected in his grade average.
Furthermore, he holds a technological Diploma in Environmental Management and Public Services from the University (FJC) of Bogota (2014). He has also coursed five semesters of undergraduate bachelor’s degree in public administration from the Superior School of Public Administration in Colombia (2018); the latter with a special focus on sociopolitical issues and global development. During 2020 and 2021, he undertook the advanced One-year academic English preparation programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands.
Currently, he undergoes a Dutch language preparation programme at Erasmus University in combination with his part-time job.
Regarding his work experience, he has worked with various non-governmental organizations in Colombia focused on social work and art. His work broadly involved comprehensive programs on human rights and inclusion as well as social care for children and adolescents victims of the Colombian armed conflict. He has also participated in the creation of peace methodologies through art (Dance, music, theatre).
These are more representative through his role as a dancer and instructor of ballet and folkloric dance in several dance companies in Colombia.
In the Netherlands, as of 2021, he has been working in the museum industry as a part-time tour guide and host in (Youseum) interactive media experience in The Hague and Gouda-Chees Historic guided experience in Gouda.
