I'm an award-winning storyteller with a decade of experience. I've been in big LA sets and in bareboned shoestring productions. I specialize in non-fiction films where I document artists, athletes, and social causes. Throughout my career, I've had work shown in Tribeca, Santa Barbara, Boooooooom.tv, and Directors Library.
TEFAFContent creator, 2020 – 2022 I was brought on by producer Sarah Lu to revamp the famed art fair’s video materials.Through our joint creative vision, we did away with the standard exhibition tours and replaced them with cinematic short documentaries. These films, showing the inner lives of artists, collectors, and curators, were featured in Directors Library, Boooooooom.tv, and has been showcased in the 2022 Berlin Commercial Festival.
SO CARDSHead creative, 2018 – present What started off as a simple idea turned into a fully funded Kickstarter campaign and eventually grew into a globally beloved product. I created this product – a card game for deeper discussions and authentic connection – as a side project. Today, with just a few hours of work per month, it still sells thousands of units a month all over Europe and North America.
ADIDAS PHContent creator, 2020 Right before the pandemic, I spent time in the Philippines collaborating with Adidas Philippines to release a series of short documentaries on their sponsored creators. I made portraits of a tattoo artist, muralist, and a shoe designer.
88STOREY FILMSIn-house director, 2014 – 2017 During my time in Southeast Asia, I served as the youngest working commercial director in the Philippines, shooting ads for Johnson & Johnson, Chevrolet, Mitsubishi, and FILA.
GUERRILLA HOLLYWOODCamera assistant, 2013 Fresh out of college, I put in my hours working on set in Los Angeles. I was responsible for keeping shots in focus on music videos for various artists such as Kendrick Lamar.
FREELANCEFilmmaker, 2012 – present In between every project, I’ve made sure to invest time into my own personal pursuits. Throughout my tenure, I have premiered short films in festivals like Tribeca, Santa Barbara, and Nashville.
