Nicolas Nossa

Architect with emphasis on Sustainability with excellent skills in the development of conceptual and design and sustainability projects. Passionate, purposeful and creative person, with a serious commitment regarding the profession as a tool for city transformation which has made him stand out as a student, academic tutor and professional project collaborator. Empathic leader convinced that teaching is the best way to apprehend knowledge.

In 2023, I moved to Rotterdam where I gained six months of professional experience as an intern at Powerhouse Company. During my internship, I supported the team in an educational building contest for Radboud University in Nijmegen. Also, I was responsible for conducting facade design tests on two residential projects using Archicad and Rhino, the Vivaldi Tower in Amsterdam and Wandblok in Rotterdam, a building located in the development of the Codrico Terrein in the Rijnhaven.

While studying in Torino, I worked as a design assistant at studio 2MIX. My main responsibility was to draw a perspective section which was later displayed in the main pavilion of the Shenzen Biennial. The drawing was exhibited as part of a transparent, backlit lamp of 9 meters circumference.

During my bachelor's internship at Estudio Bosque in Bogotá, I gained 9 months of experience as an intern. I was involved in the design and technical illustration of various residential and social projects, resulting in exposure to community work and participative public space design.

In 2021 I completed my Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. During my studies, I was selected from a large pool of candidates based on my GPA to receive a complete scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Sustainable Architecture at Politecnico di Torino. I graduated from this program in September of last year (2023).

Apart from my mother tongue, Spanish, I am fluent in English (C1) and Italian (C1). Currently, I am learning Dutch.
