Marketing and Communication Specialist

My name is Nicoleta and I am a Marketing & Management and Communications professional based in the Netherlands. I am an enthusiastic, open-minded person, very keen on self-development and on gaining experience in a professional international atmosphere.
My first marketing position was as an intern at BUKU, where I gained relevant experience in a B2B market and I researched the Romanian e-learning ecosystem for a potential market penetration. I devised an elaborate market entry strategy to jumpstart BUKU's presence in the Romanian market for e-books. It was a personal growth-worth experience, as I also had to stay in contact with so many different parties in order for Buku to reach their goals.
Later on, I worked as a Marketing intern with the International Recruitment Team at Hanzegoheschool, where I helped them in finding out missing touchpoints from the Customer Journey of prospective international students. I was tasked with researching different phases of the customer journey, with a special focus on the initial consideration set. The aim was to improve the current touchpoints (known and unknown) in order to maximize efficiency and achieve an increase in international students.
In addition to my marketing experience, I have a strong passion for communication. I joined ORTEC as a communication intern with the purpose of finding out how they can externally communicate about their CSR efforts in a distinctive and successful way. For this, I have collected primary research (interviews with CSR experts & internal stakeholders) and secondary research.
Based on the results, I have developed a communication strategy aimed to focus on four major points: the content of the CSR communication, the stakeholders involved, the core values of the company and cultural awareness & sensitivity. I was then promoted to the Communication Assistant position, where I supported the communications team in various tasks related to internal and external communication, such as: drafting engaging communication materials (articles, writing manual, reports, etc.), social media management (creating and curating content for LinkedIn & YouTube), research and analysis (CSR related), stakeholder engagement (internal & external), the management of the internal network system, interviewing and onboarding new employees.
