I am an HR professional with over 10 years of experience across global headquarters, IT, logistics, and port-related industries. I have worked in both multinational corporations and mid-sized organizations, supporting diverse, multicultural teams in fast-paced environments.
At Maas-Riva B.V. (part of Ligabue Group) I currently lead HR, covering talent management, hiring, onboarding, payroll, performance, and policies. Earlier, at Royal Vopak, I served as HR Manager at the global headquarters, where I partnered with corporate staff, IT, and shared services. I co-founded Vopak’s IT/software development entity in Portugal, cutting costs while maintaining top retention in a highly competitive market.
I combine hands-on HR management with strategic business partnering: designing and enforcing policies, running recruitment and employer branding campaigns, implementing global HR systems, and supporting leaders in change management. My experience spans labor law application, audits, outsourcing, and cross-border HR operations.

At Royal Vopak, I supported global headquarters, corporate staff, and IT departments. I co-founded a software development center in Portugal, reducing costs while achieving strong retention in a highly competitive IT labor market. I also played a key role in the global implementation of Workday and in building international HR processes.
Currently, at Maas-Riva B.V. (part of the Ligabue Group), I lead all HR activities, including talent management, recruitment, onboarding, performance, payroll, and policy improvement. I have strengthened procedures around absenteeism, overtime, and onboarding while ensuring full staffing in a challenging market.
My strength lies in combining strategic HR business partnering with hands-on execution, always focused on building people, processes, and performance.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (2012–2016). During my studies I specialized in organizational development, labor law, and HR strategy, while also gaining practical experience through internships in recruitment and HR. Earlier, I studied Psychology at Leiden University (2010–2012), which provided me with a strong foundation in people behavior and analysis.
