Rens Ithurbure

My name is Rens Ithurbure, born in Castricum in the Netherlands and currently living in Amsterdam. I am a loyal, flexible and enthusiastic person, whom enjoys a dynamic working environment. In a team I value cooperation with colleagues and I think having a pleasant and safe working atmosphere is important.

Besides working hard at school I also enjoy going out with friends as well. I enjoy the company of people. I practice sports several times a week, fitness training and rowing at Okeanos, situated at the Bosbaan in Amsterdam.

In the winter season I enjoy snowboarding. Besides sports I am passionate about investing with stocks and reading educational books about subjects like personal development, finance and science. To top it off I very much like traveling to distant destinations for culture as well as relaxing.

I am currently studying for my master degree at the university of applied science in Amsterdam. An important part of this final study year is my master thesis project. No doubt analyzing and solving data related problems is an essential part of the activities in your organization.

For this reason I am approaching you to consider to offer me a job within your company. Besides my thorough knowledge of logistic principles such as supply chain management, product optimalisation and cost reduction, I also bring along data science knowledge and skills. This year I am studying the master Digital Driven Business, where we learn techniques such as data collection, data cleaning, data exploratory analysis (EDA), data manipulation and visualization using tools such as Python (Jupiter Notebook and Visual Studio), SQL and Tableau dashboarding.
