Sara David

I am a Masters student in Communication and Information Sciences at Tilburg University. Before joining the University, I used to work as an Assistant Professor in English in India. My responsibilities included teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students English literature and language, help in organise formal events within the college. I also hold a Masters degree in English Literature from The English and Foreign Languages University, India. During my postgraduate course in English Literature, I was selected for the post of Chief Editor of our University magazine. I was also privileged to intern with the editorial team at Penguin Random Publishing House. As a copy editorial intern, I was bestowed with the responsibility of proofreading which focussed on giving attention to detail.

I served as Assistant Professor in English who taught undergraduate and postgraduate students English literature and language. My responsibilities included helping students acquire communicative knowledge in the language and kindle their curiosity to attain self-knowledge.Moreover, I was also given the responsibility to organise the annual college festival, Aquilae which involved communicating and collaborating with various sponsors and guiding students to achieve the same. I helped the students build a social media platform to market the activities for future year sponsors as well.In addition to that, I served as the Staff Secretary of the College in the academic year 2020-2021 and was responsible for taking minutes of meetings.

Prior to working with Sacred Heart College, I was working as a Pedagogy Expert with a Finnish based educational start up called Venture Village. My duties as a pedagogy expert entailed adapting and creating learning modules from the Finnish education system to the Indian school system. The learning modules included Green City, Future City and were designed in focus with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Moreover, I engaged with students in delivering the learning modules and continuously evaluating the courses according to the student feedback.

I am a Masters student in Communication and Information Sciences at Tilburg University.As a Masters student who is engaging in papers that include 'Roles of Networked Organisation', 'Creativity and Innovation' and ' Rapid Prototyping', I have an in-depth knowledge of digital tools and their role in enabling creativity. I also hold a Masters degree in English from The English and Foreign Languages university, India.
