Sarah Stashower graduated from the Clinical & Developmental Psychopathology Master’s program at Vrije University Amsterdam in 2023 cum laude. She studied psychology at Case Western Reserve University in the United States and graduated cum laude in 2021. During her bachelor’s, she completed a year-long academic exchange program at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Sarah is currently the lead developer of a mindfulness and self-compassion intervention for Let’s Break the Shame Foundation, a charity organisation for mental well-being. She has clinical training and research experience regarding psychological treatments for a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

She also has 2 years of experience working as a clinical medical and surgical assistant at a medical practice. Moreover, she has a B1+ (advanced intermediate) level of the Dutch language and is studying towards the B2 level.
