DevOps Engineer – Platform Operations
Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu In this dedicated Platform Operations role as DevOps engineer, your primary focus will be operational excellence - keeping our Kubernetes platform reliable, secure, and humming smoothly. You’ll be hands-on with platform operations, automation, observability, and deployment tooling. Working closely with developers, architects, and wider technology specialists, you’ll play a key role in offloading operational overhead by automating processes, improving how applications are deployed, monitored, and run; all while helping drive continuous improvement across our platform.How you’ll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira
- Experience working with Kubernetes or container platforms in production environments, or a strong willingness to learn
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Octopus Deploy
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch/Kibana
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, detail oriented approach to operational work
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on security and patching for containerised workloads
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with and support software engineers
