DanoneAbout The Job ABOUT THE ROLE - Te tūranga mahi This is Permanent Position, working Monday - Friday from 830am to 500pm, 40 hours per week. Come and join us in our state-of-the-art dairy manufacturing factory based at Mangere! We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our innovative IT & Data team.
In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and digital solutions that improve efficiency and support Danone’s manufacturing operations. You’ll help deliver high‑quality code, integrate systems, and drive continuous digital improvement across the business. Reporting to the Digital Transformation and Systems Manager you will be part of the IT & Data and Digital Operations team.
The role will focus on supporting the end-to-end development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of digital solutions. You will Develop and implement data analysis methods, data collection systems, and optimize strategies to ensure data is readily available. Prioritize both business and information requirements.
Assess and identify the need for upgrades or new systems, manage every stage of the project—including design, selecting vendors, contract negotiations, procurement, development, customization, testing, validation, user training, and implementation. About you ABOUT YOU - Mō Koe You will have a BSc Degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, or a related field. You enjoy working in a manufacturing environment and have a continuous improvement mindset and great initiative when it comes to supporting the team.
To succeed in this role, you should have Over 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, project management, or a comparable environment Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills
Advanced problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (preferred)
Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Thorough grasp of web development basics
Expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
3+ years’ experience with back-end tools such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
Proficiency with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and version control platforms like Git About us ABOUT US - Mō Mātou Do things your way.
